I am currently tractor shopping and Kioti is at the top of the list. Biggest competition is JD. (kioti 3510 or 3510se v/s Jd 2038R) I have noticed many comments here that the kioti is more tractor for the money. I am curious as to what specifically makes you say that? I see some advantages both ways so wanted to get others thoughts as well.

When pricing out tractors, I found that the JD’s when looking at comparable models, were just a lot more money. Like in the magnitude of 30% more.

This is where I am at

JD 2038R with loader 22750 0% financing

advantages the kioti doesnt have
cruise control
mid pto
linked pedals
tilt steering
rubber mat
armrests
2 more pto hp
dealer in throwing distance in every direction
separate wheel brakes
lift rod kit
(yes i know most can be lived without)

Kioti ck3510 $20500 0% financing

I wont mention the advantages i see in Kioti as I am trying to get others thoughts.

Based on the above, I would go with the JD. Kiotis are good, no reason not to buy them, it just looks as if the JD is a good choice based, again, on what you list.

What's the reputation of the local JD dealership? I'm talking long term parts and service support.

The dealership I bought my Kioti from just sent out their spring add...$17,995 for a CK3510HST.
Have you tried out the tractors?
I'm sure you compared the weight, physical size and lift capacities.
I wouldn't hesitate to buy a John Deere.. If that is what you want...
You could probably get a CK4010 for less than than the JD if you shop.

I am getting quotes of 18800 cash price. But you don't get the rebates if you take the 0% and any other financing I can find will cost me more than the difference so 0% it is

Wagtail
I have 3 JD dealers within 30 mins 2 Kioti about the same. I am really leaning towards kioti. Just worry that the small dealers might disappear or stop carrying them down the road.

I am just new to tractors and noticed many people say they were better tractors for the money. So was wondering what people were seeing in Kioti that I may not have noticed

Well, that's why I asked... your local 'word in the paddock/pub' will go a long way to determining the best dealership, and their longevity, in your area. People talk, especially in the close circle of tractor ownership. And I'm referring to any colour of tractor. Because tractor dealerships live and die due to long-term support for their products.

We (TBN) can offer our stories but they are mostly localised. My dealership (JD) is honestly fantastic... but you're not likely to 'pop down' to Tasmania. :)

I would put the dealer at the top of the list of important items when considering a tractor. The color of the best selling equipment around here depends on the dealer. Right now it's red but heading back to green as the Case dealer is flaking out on the farmers. The big names are close enough in features & equipment that it comes down to the dealer. Like the Tasmanian Devil :) says The word in the paddock/pub will tell you who the better dealers are. If you think 0% financing is really that, look at the payout in the end VS cash or conventional financing.

The Kioti Ck3510se does have all the features listed above. (Linked pedal, tilt, arm rest, rubber mat, etc)I have been researching both of these tractors and have found the Kioti lifts more with both the loader and three point. Kioti has higher lift height with loader. The Kioti has 111ci engine while the JD is 95ci. I am also a fan of the steel hoods and fenders Kioti is using
The Kioti has auto/manual PTO. The JD has a mid PTO. The JD has more HP. The Kioti has more hydraulic flow. Kioti has more weight. Kioti has a level indicator which is very useful
Not sure in the difference on financing as I am looking to pay cash.
Happy shopping.

I got to drive the 3510se yesterday and that eliminated the debate. Worked out price with the dealer today and will be ordering tomorrow.

I was just quoted $33,600 for a JD 2038R TLB Incl/ Power Beyond kit, 3rd function kit, and Rimguard (not including the grapple I want, no tax). I think that's a bit high, and defintely more than I want to spend. Got a similar # on a 2032R from the same dealer.

I'm also shopping Mahindra (quoted ~$28k for a 1526 TLB with 3rd function, but may wait on the upcoming 1635), but just started looking into the Kiotis, specifically the CK3510SE TLB. Emailed the local dealer I stopped into the other day for a quote. I think he told me ~$24k verbally for the standard CK3510 TLB, but I could be wrong on that, since I wasn't too familiar with the model lineup and he was throwing alot of info at me.

@crotalusco - Care to share the selling price on that CK3510se?

@Sawworcs - I didn't realize the CK3510SE had the level indicator. That'll save me $10 on Amazon! ;)

Edit - I just want to note that the CK3510SE also has 2 rear remotes standard, and all (or at least most of) the hydraulic lines are steel braided. Oh, and you get the horn, not just the button for the horn. :)

Ck3610se non-cab 22300 no rebates as I took the 0 percent. $1800 more more all the se extras was no brainer.

Ordered the SE coming next week.

DJ wanted another 1k for the rear remotes. And their implement prices are out of hand. Since I am adding 2 of those in the financing it mattered.

Sounds like you got a good deal and made a wise choice on the CK3510SE.

Something I don't think anyone mentioned about the JD 2000 series is that it has a 2 speed range Hydro, that alone would be a deal killer for us. The L3940 has 3 ranges and then 2 ranges in each of those ranges by flicking a lever on the steering column.

Right now my son is seriously looking at the Kioti CK2610 with a loader, linked pedals, WR Long 3rd Function and a rubber floor. He was given a price $18,358. He wants some for doing cleaning and small chores around his farm.

Congratulations! You will really appreciate that extra weight and bigger tires of the Kioti vs. the Deere.
