Wow, sorry to hear of your issues. I would refuse the part altogether and order from another dealer, and if they tried to stiff me I would do a chargeback on my Credit card. Nothing gets shipped for free anywhere, someone pays for it. I really don't like the fact that you were told you could have it shipped to you and then Kioti says no. You should have had it shipped to your address but called yourself Smith equipment repairs, with you as the contact person. Maybe talk to your local gas station and see if they will let you ship there next time for some cash could save you the residential delivery fee.
Hope someone makes this right for you. My dealer is an hour away, he orders parts and then mails them to my house and I pay him for the fees. 2+hours in my truck going up and over mountains is quite expensive for gas, and you are double this. I would be pissed.
I have a rear defrost on my NX, but it came that way delivered. It works ok, but like all defrosters, with blowing snow once it cools down the snow melts and becomes ice.
