Comparison Kioti NX5010 vs Kubota L4701

   / Kioti NX5010 vs Kubota L4701 #32
I've never owned or operated a Kioti, so I can't comment there. The main reasons I went with Kubota is for their legendary engine reliability, huge dealer network/support, resale value, and also the fact that the two Kubs I owned before my current L5740 were absolutely bulletproof. I actually looked at used models before I bought new, and actually found that I could buy new for a couple grand more, with 0% financing too. It pays to shop around too. I drove 4 hrs out of state, but saved over $5k compared to local dealers. That said, I absolutely love my L5740. In 3.5 years and 300 hrs it's been flawless. I was originally was skeptical with the HST plus and the extra ranges, but I find that I use them quite often. I haul a lot of firewood out of the woods with the tractor, often on neighboring properties with some road travel with hills. I run in high range on the road, but I have a couple hills that are quite steep, where I simply drop a range with the column shifter, on the fly. It's really like having six ranges. It's also great for loader work. I'm not really sure what the NX60 can do that would kill an L5740? It's 200# heavier and a couple more engine hp, yet a couple less pto hp. Specs look very similar to me, unless I'm missing something?

Now thats funny !!! Tell us all about the value engineered (kioti)borderline cheap, love to hear it.I also own kubota products let me say they have not been flawless by any means.

He won't and can't....it's sort of a theme. I call a loader control attached to the loader frame value-engineered and absolutely cheap, but he'd probably call it "charming" rather than admit the truth that it's inferior.

Kioti's electrical connectors are cheap, brittle, prone-to-breaking-when-disconnected knock-offs of the industry gold-standard Delphi weatherpac and metripac connectors. They're awful.

Shame on Kioti for using cheap, prone-to-break, multi-pin electrical connectors.

No question there's room for improvement, but I'd be willing to bet the overwhelming majority of owners never touch the electrical connectors.
