Kioti owners are Geniuses

I wasn't aware that Kioti offered a 3 point backhoe. The one I have is a sub-frame mounted.

As noted here by swnoel and by Vince, the Kioti uses a subframe mount. Here's my subframe which needs to be tailored to my backhoe which is currently a three point mount. Cost was $600. And another photo with it from another forum member. I agree with the other comment about preferring the design like this that is removed from the tractor when the backhoe is removed.

I didnt like their backhoe. Also the local dealer went out of business, leaving many hanging.

Dealers make money on service and parts more so than selling new units, unless they can sell a lot of them.

When tractors don't break down...it can be hard to make money.

Volume also counts for something - in an hour or so radius from me there are 5 kubota dealers and 3 kioti dealers. I hear/read that kubota is Number 1 in small tractor sales in the US - so what, 25-30% of the market? Maybe more? (figure deere is right behind them). So that would imply Kioti may have 5%,...so a kubota dealer will sell 5 or 6 tractors for every kioti - and have double or triple the parts/service business.

And kubota sells a lot of 'consumer' level units - folks that are much more likely to use a dealer service dept than a farmer will, giving the dealer more income.

I have a 08 CK35 HST with 1300 hrs on it and so far only had to change oil cooler that developed a leak. It's been a great investment.

I have that problem too. Kioti replaced them in America as it was a fault. Wont do that here. Too far out of warranty. Sitting in the shed atm as I cant afford it right now. $445 + freight
The nutseat where the banjo bolt goes on top has a hairline crack.

I am looking to a bigger one in a couple of years.

Bigger tractor. Picked up a brochure this morning. Nice 48hp hst there. :)
While I was at the dealers I ordered the tx oil cooler. Now to look at the joystick.

I wish I could but it would leak up the crack and past the O Rings. Just got to wear this one.
