I didnt like their backhoe. Also the local dealer went out of business, leaving many hanging.

I can only say I have been very happy with mine. I'd be even more happy if it had a buddy seat. :)

"Buddy Seat" is that like "She likes my Tractor" kind of seat ? That is all I can think of for a Buddy Seat, unless you have a BIG Tractor and you need help watching everywhere at once.

I don't like the fact that the BH is a 3-Pt Hitch setup and hangs off the rear of the Tractor WAY too much.
Now that I think on it, when I first started looking at the Koiti's, ten years back, that was one of the main points why I didn't buy one, thank you for the recall.

I don't understand how this is described as a '3-Pt Hitch setup', as I thought it is in effect a frame mount. I can understand comments that it's too long though.

Regardless, I guess it comes down to what you're trying to accomplish. The backhoe subframe mount is one of the main reasons I did buy Kioti. Two Kubota dealers told me I'd have to sell my backhoe and buy their backhoe for around $7k (that's the number that sticks in my head anyway). So I bought the subframe for around $600 and will adapt mine to it. My property is flat, the the rear projection shouldn't be an issue. For me it was a better approach, all things considered.

There are times when I'm cutting or baling hay that I'll be in the tractor all day. It would be nice to have the extra seat so my wife could ride along for a few hours. Plus it's a good place for kids/grandkids to ride along.

I have had both the Kubota and now the Kioti backhoe. I MUCH prefer the Kioti because you DON'T have to remove the 3-point hitch to install it...just take off the top link, hook up and go. I find myself using it much more often because of the ease of connection and removal.

I was delivering an ag implement to a tractor dealer that carried Kioti for sub-cuts and switched to Kubota merely for reputation and their bottom line and one of their senior mechanics told me outright that in many ways the Kioti exceeds the Kubota in capability.
Been a Kubota man for 20 years. About time to replace my B2910. Looked at Kioti today and I was thoroughly impressed.
You guys are smart !! Lot of tractor ( across the entire line it seems ) for the money. Just kicking tires , but when ready I Will drive and test. Never thought they would equal the Kubota but they may just surpass it.

I wasn't aware that Kioti offered a 3 point backhoe. The one I have is a sub-frame mounted.

And..... you should consider yourself fortunate!
A 3pt backhoe is a top link failure, looking for a place to happen.

bought a new 18 CK3510HST - saved about 30% over what a comparable Kubota woulda cost. So I could afford a bigger/better tractor.

250 hours on it now - needs to do all the filter (oil, hst, trans, fuel filter) - 135 from the dealer, 60 of that is the fuel filter. So yeah, even 'parts' are not that expensive and readily available.

DO the maintenance - if it says 'check lug nuts' CHECK THEM...I didn't had lost a few off the front tires. it says at some point check rad hose clamps..I've not done that (will do it as part of the 250 hr service this week)...and one's leaking now. SO yes, DO the prescribed maintenance.

Otherwise use it for all it's worth!!

I've done a LOT of brush hogging (6'), finish mowing this year (5'..want bigger), disking, hilling, back blade, box blade, moved 150 tons of dirt if not more (that i dug up) with the loader and use the forks nearly as much. Oh, and 50 some post holes too."

I will warn you - tractors do not save labor - they MAKE work!! The more implements you have the more you can do...so the more you DO..so more work! LOL
