BOOoooooooooook, we will keep an eye out for your "wish I'd bought a kubota" thread in a couple of months.
A seller can ask any price. You can pay or walk. It’s pretty simple. How badly do you want it?Am I being unrealistic? Looking for advice.
This will be my first tractor purchase I was looking at a Kioti CK3510SE HST Cab tractor with loader KL4030C, mid pto as I want a front snow blower (intend to purchase it this Summer), R14 tires, bolt on cutting edge, lift rod kit.
I live in Ontario Canada. the price was $39,500 Cdn + HST.
I have never paid sticker price for anything however in this case it was a take it or leave it price. I first walked away and then swallowed my pride and agreed to asking price.
Went to make a cash down pmt and lo and behold the 66" bucket had become a 60" bucket. Bait and switch?
I dislike it when a sales person tells me one thing and then it is another?
I walked away.
Am I being unrealistic?
I can wait till the fall to make a purchase if I have to.
Any thoughts / advice?
Thank you
Good fortunes with your new tractor. My bad. I did not realize until you pointed it out that I had posted incorrectly to Kubota instead of Kioti.
I can only say that at the time i was upset about it.
Again my apologies everyone.
The HST is a tax similar to a state tax it is 13% in Ontario.
Yes I did look at other tractors. I originally was thinking Kubota however went with Kioti because of hydraulic capacity and more features were standard on the Ck3510SE.
I own a Kubota, but there is nothing wrong with Kioti tractors. They may have been on my shopping list if there were any reputable dealers nearby.ok, we will keep an eye out for your "wish I'd bought a kubota" thread in a couple of months.
My argument at the dealer would be " nobody sells a FEL where the bucket is narrower then the front tires.Am I being unrealistic? Looking for advice.

Umm I didn't pay any sales tax when I bought my tractor last year. AG stuff here in USA is mostly exempt from taxes. My bad. I did not realize until you pointed it out that I had posted incorrectly to Kubota instead of Kioti.

Glad you got the loader thing sorted out. I have a Kioti DK 45...great tractor. If fact Kioti is the only manufacturer to make ALL its parts in house.
SNIP....
What on there is not made by Daedong? Besides maybe the nuts/bolts/hoses?Oh, bat squat. That sounds like advertising BS. They are fine tractors, but false statements like that only hurts their credibility.
rScotty
You said ALL parts, not me. Tires, battery, all electricals, lights, circuitry, alternator, gauges & senders wiring, castings, bearings, bushings, bearings, plastics, paint, stickers, pistons & valves, mufflers, all the hydraulics... the list goes on and on. Critical items are what matter: crankshafts, straight & bevel gear assemblies, shafts. What on there is not made by Daedong? Besides maybe the nuts/bolts/hoses?
If you consider Kioti as an off brand you probably consider a Buick as an off brand too.I would not pay so much for an off brand like that
I would be willing to bet that ain't gonna happen.ok, we will keep an eye out for your "wish I'd bought a kubota" thread in a couple of months.

I didnt say that...
*whetherIt's an "off brand" weather you like or not.
When you sell one used and compare prices to the two major players- it will be obvious.
I've seen many "wish I'd bought a kubota threads." Many from current or former kioti owners.
Don't worry, means nothing to me what kind of tractor anyone buys. Just don't ask to borrow any of mine.
You kioti owners sure get butt hurt easily. Maybe stay in your own forum? It will be much easier to avoid the truth.
at least I was smart enough to buy kubota*whether
