I'm just wondering why anyone would want to go to the trouble or expense of having that BobTach type system on a tractor. It's handy on a skid steer where getting out of the cab is a pain in the rear. But on a tractor, what does this system save you? 2 minutes max every time you change attachments on the FEL?

Maybe I'm missing something. Or, if I'm not, then I simply haven't become too lazy to get off the tractor to flip a lever (or two) to change FEL attachments.

Plus, if I'm changing to or from the grapple, I have to get off anyway to unhook the hydraulics from the grapple.

I swap from bucket to forks to 3pt all the time. I don't have a grapple or any thing to hook up for hydraulics. As I use the forks as much as the bucket, its nice to be able to swap them in a few seconds without getting off.

Yes it doesn't save a ton of time, but it is really handy if you swap implements a lot, or are lazy.

I welded a cheap used 3pt quick hitch to a cheap SSQA plate a while back & have been really happy with that. My trailer mover is usually attached, but its great for moving or loading implements too. Knife maintenance on the flail is easy at proper working height when lifted on the loader (and braced with a post for safety if the hydraulics go).
