Kioti DK65
Went by my local Kioti dealer today to pick up my filters today, and they had a Kioti rep there. I got to talk to him for a few minutes, and was pretty impressed with him. I asked him about the DK 80 and 90 coming to the states and he said they were doing a study on it right now, but figured it would be a few more years before it happened.

He also told me that in a couple of years the DK65 was going to be redesigned more like the DK55, with a new generation Perkins diesel. Something was said about Catapiller buying them out, and having to update the Perkins to new EPA standards.

They also had a DK65 that was a couple of years old, in changing the clutch out under warranty. On the 2003 models they come with the same clutch used in the DK90, so they were updating this one to the new clutch.

I also found out the older Kiotis that came with the quick attach lower 3 point arm, are recalled and can be changed to the new style free of charge. Anyway just thought I'd let ya'll know Kioti is on the ball.

HTRDCowboy,

Did you happen to notice how many hours was on the 65 with the clutch being changed?

I swapped my arms out to the more "traditional" style /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

How well do you like your 65? Any dislikes?

RedDog; I found out about the DK65 that had the clutch changed out, had around 280 hours on it.
And as far as my DK65, I love it. The only thing that concerns me is the seat. Mine folds over and is adjustable, but only one of the tracks lock. Which lets it move foward and back a little, and I think it's going to end up breaking the seat at the hinge. I've talked to the dealer about it some , but I'm not thru yet. I may see if they will get me another track off the left side, and fab something up to both handles, so it will adjust with a rod or something like it. Other than that this thing is a hoss.

Good to hear you are enjoying yours /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I have not paid any attention to my seat. I don't really move it.

I just finished (yesterday) using mine to set trusses in my pole barn. My brother fabricated a boom pole to my quick attach plate.

I think I have 217 hours on mine, but that will go up after today /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I'm gonna call my dealer soon as sometimes I think he is the Maytag repair man /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Somebody stopped at my house about a week ago asking me about the tractor.

Stay in touch with yours,,,,,,,,, RedDog Kioti DK65
