Using this programming hardware and software a person could copy the fuel, boost, and timing maps exactly from a nx6010 or rx7310 and load it onto a smaller NX or RX. DPF and everything would still be intact. It would be exactly like a NX6010 but with NX4510 decals.

This thread isn't about deleting DPF. It's about the ability to tune the ECU. DPF deleting is just one of many things possible. What a lot of people want.

I sell used equipment, skid steers, mini hoes, and compact tractors. It's a lot harder to sell a unit with DPF off warranty. Delete the DPF and people start a bidding war.

I'm in talkes with a known and experienced tuner about becoming a dealer for him.

I agree... Once you're factory warranty is up.

Every time I see a thread like this, I'm thankful I got the last new non-DPF Kioti my dealer could scrounge up. :)

I don't know why people are scared of the DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) system.
It's been on trucks for 10 years now... I have seen very little problems with it.
The DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) systems are another story... Nothing worse on a diesel truck.

I guess you just don't understand the added cost of the more complicated system exhaust system, problems and expense some are having with it through no fault of their own. :confused3:

Scared of it, NO. Wanting to avoid potential expensive problems and downtime, YES. ;)

Trucks and tractors are operated in a totally different manor. Not really a good comparison.

I guess I thought truck deisel DPF system operated the same.
If it is totally different than would someone explain how the DPF works on the tractor.
I didn't realize that they had so many problems and are costing so much.

Yeah, some owners of Cummins DPF equipped Rams for example 2012 models

being told to short the oil change by a full quart and then being a quart over (raw diesel- in the engine oil) by the next oil change.

Oldoak, curious about this with respect to DPF systems, as distinguished from DEF. Would you mind elaborating?

FWIW, I've run my NX4510HST Cab hard for four years now, and never had a lick of trouble with the DPF system.
