It struck me as interesting today when I checked out the "top posters" list today that KiotiJohn is STILL in the top ten all-time. Too bad he doesn't come back and join us...

Members come and go due to other priorities in their lives... and then sometimes come back when they can!
It's always a pleasant surprise to see a longtime member who has been gone for a while check back and start posting again.

Junkman has been away for over a year, and was still in the top four until recently!
I hear he's still cleaning out his garage, but I judging by the photo, I don't think he's made much progress...

I hate to break it to ya,, I was at his home yesterday, and the middle bay, (same picture you posted from 14 months ago), is open, the floor is open, just a little more to complete on each side. I haven't been there on his property for quite sometime., Even I was surprised at how much cleaner it iis.. In fact, I will ask Junkman to post a picture of that same bay. You wouldn't believe it

I had heard he bought a lift, and was trying to clear out space to install it...
I'll be looking forward to seeing his updated photos. That thread showing the pictures of his garage was a classic! :)

"The middle bay is open." Does that mean the other two are stuffed to the gills now?? :) He didn't actually dispose of any of his valuable stuff, did he?

I PM'd John a while back, but got no reply.

I remember him saying that when he retired he was going to move to Mexico, maybe that has happened. He definitely was a strong advocate of Kioti tractors.

No, what I saw was no change in the other bays,,, About like before, but not adding anything from the center bay. No, actually he has pallets of stuff ready to dispose of or possibly sell. Hard to say. Some people like old tools, hub caps from the original "Tucker", and a host of other things. Other people call it trash and in the dumpster it goes. I can't begin to remember how many tools, and car parts are on those pallets. Odd things too, like two thousand, 2 3/4 inch wide adding machine tapes... In either case, those who remember a couple years back of him taking the wife's turkey roasting pan and using it to drain oil from the tractor,, I asked him about this and he put his fingers across the mouth and said SHHSSHH to me..

I think Junkman still lives in Connecticut.

He may have been, but I'm pretty sure Junkman owned a Kubota and a couple Bolens tractors.
