507,
I sent them an email to check price and availablity for the Minneapolis area. Have not heard back.
Any idea on price? The blades look good on the web.

I have no idea on the price, but I do know about the quality. It is better than any other ground engaging equipment I have personally seen elsewhere.
Just my .02

I have on order the 5' Midwest rear blade with tilt and offset. My order was placed through a dealer in Kentucky just across the Ohio River from Indiana. Hopefully it will arrive soon and I can share my experiences with it.

From the analysis of my needs and what was available from a variety of manufacturers, the Midwest rear blade scored very high in functionality but at a very competitive price. Sure, you can find a cheaper blade without the additional capabilities of tilt and offset but the first time you need these capabilities the cost difference will be well worth it.

I plan on using this rear blade with a John Deere 2210 which is comparable in many ways to the Kubota BX2200.

What was the price???

I ended up paying $325 for the 5' Midwest rear blade but I know there are places that sell them for less. Little Tractor in Illinois, for example, has the same blade I ordered eslewhere listed on their web site for $295 http://www.littletractor.com. Unlike some other rear blades with tilt and offset cabability you do not need a wrench or socket to make the changes in the Midwest blade's working configuration. This is what attracted me to their rear blade in addition to plenty of praise here on TBN for Midwest's quality and durability.

You paid almost $100 more than what g42guy was quoted, but I'll bet it's well worth it to get "tool-less" tilt AND offset for the Midwest blade.
I have spent considerable time talking with JimMc of Midwest . He wants to make equipment that users really need and can use. I have inspected his line of equipment in deep depth and can say I have never seen anything that compares for the price. The quality is something to see.
And by the way......I have no connection with his company at all. I just like what I see /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Wow, this thread is over 10 years old! They're probably out of business.

Thanks for the reply. I guess the thread has been resurrected! You know where I might find a "tilt and offset" back blade for my sub-compact? I like the sound of the prices in this old post above. Would love to find something in the 300-400 dollar range...

Got any experience with tilting using the 3 pt hitch? Wondering if that will work.

Mid west owner died, company folded. :( You will not find a blade like what you want new for that amount. ETA is going to be your best bet as far as new goes, but it sure isn't in the price range that you want, and they are about the best value for the cost.
