klonopin spam

In the last few days I have seen more than a few spam messages with random letters in the thread title, user name, location, and tractor type. The messages deal with the drug klonopin. I have reported all that I have seen, but because I am not here 24 hours/day, I am sure that others have shown up.

Is there any way to permanently block the source?

It looks like a spam bot. A "CAPTCHA" will prevent bots from posting.

:laughing: No sooner did I leave this thread than I spotted another one of these klonopin "New Member" spams 2 threads down.

We think we've banned this spammer now... but we'll see if they come back in though.

IIRC, the mods prefer you just report it.
Adding to a SPAM thread makes more work for the mods.

However, I expect to be corrected by Muhammad or one of the Mods, if I'm wrong...

Roy is correct. Please just push the little 'report post' button and enter 'spam' as the reason. A TBN staff member or a moderator will get it as soon as possible. It doesn't matter if multiple people report it as all the reports for that particular thread go into one bucket and its easy for them to clean up. Thanks for reporting the junk! :thumbsup:

It's the small triangle with an exclamation mark in it. Look to the far left on the bar with"Reply" and "Reply With Quote".

Once you click it, a box opens where you can tell why you did. Just put "spam" in the edit box and send it.

this spam is rampant on the net lately.. The mods could do an IP ban, but the spammers just route around it.
