Kobota's at a Green dealer

If I had it to do over I'd buy the tractor with the most comfortable seat. My neighbor's JD is so much more comfortable than mine it makes me jealous every time I borrow it. I don't care if it won't even start, at least I can sit there in comfort.

I would bet that his seat would fit on your tractor... Might need to drill a couple of holes, but it could be done (what would he think if he came out to a black/grey seat?.
Being as you have a B2700, was that seat in the Kubota seat "recall"? We got the seat in our B7500 replaced for cheap through that and the new seat is much better...

Mine came with the "improved" seat, the only difference I saw on that was they changed the angle so you don't slide forward off the thing. The problem is how it's sprung. His has a spring system that has a fairly soft, long travel so it has time to absorb the shock, mine is much too stiff so it just transmits all the shock into my tailbone. Someday if the wife's todo list runs dry maybe I'll put on a new seat.

Are you serious? That's what unscrupulous dealers DO. Easy to turn down the lift on any tractor thereby showing how a JD can lift more than Kubota. Ford does it, Chevy does it, Dodge does it, vacuum cleaners companies do it, and on and on and on.

The only way I would believe one of these side by side tests is people brought in their own tractors untouched by any dealer.

Don't drag automotive in to this. I can assure you that when we do comparative testing, we either borrow or purchase a vehicle off the dealer's lot.
