I was in this position a year ago. I was looking to buy something to maintain my acre(Mowing and landscaping). My main requirement was something WITH individual brakes, so that left me with a B2320 or a JD 2320 (Smallest from both companies with that feature). Here locally the Kubota was very close in price to the JD. I like the fact that I can USE the individual brakes on the JD without performing a contortionist act. the JD weighed a couple hundred #'s more and had higher lift capacities. The weight is to your advantage for loader and ground engagement work but a disadvantage for mowing(it wasn't for me). the actual position control on the JD was another plus vs the quarter inching valve on the Kubota. The only possible plus for the Kubota was the 3 range hydro but with a year and ~86 hrs on the JD I can say in my case that it is not a plus anymore.
