kubota 4560 backhoe

I was wondering what gpm pump Ineed to run the l4560 backhoe. the pump failed the dealer want to sell me his pump and won't gve me any specs. I want to get a prince pump parts are avail and will last longer than this pump . any help would be great

I don't really know the spec's on that hoe, but I would think you could run that hoe with anywhere from 6 to 10 GPM. The higher flow would give you faster operation but also takes a little more horse power. 2500 psi at 6 GPM is about 10 HP where as 10 GPM is about 17 HP. You do not say what size tractor you have. If you have a smaller tractor, say about 2500 lbs, then you should go with a 6 to 8 GPM pump. If your tractor is on the order of 3500 lbs or more, then it could probably handle the higher speed of the hoe with a an 8 to 10 GPM pump.
