Re: KUBOTA 60\" MMM GIVING A VERY POOR CUT
After much trial & error and finally comprehending the instructions, balanceing of the MMM wasn't nearly as bad as it started out to be..... There is a method to the written madness that passes as the MMM owners manual /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Following the steps in the order presented is the correct way as one adustment effects another measurement.
1st set the gauge wheel at the depth your gonna use most then set max maximum lift point for the rightside lifting arm. Lower the MMM to your desired height then set the front to back blade height ( the front should be ever so slightly lower than the back) then set the side to side. I used a piece of cardboard and cut it out so that it stood on it's own with measurement marks clearly visable on it in 1/2 inch increments. A wood block should work also.
You'll have to lay on your side inorder to see the measurements and having a dropcord light or flashlite is highly recommended. What took me 1 1/2 hrs to do originally now shouldn't take anymore than 20 minutes. I've only one full mow on my BX23 w/60" MMM but I'm very impressed with tthe quality of cut it delivered.
