Jim I've heard of one side becoming un latched and going unnoticed putting tremendous force on this tube. It really should be "beefier" with a larger diameter.

I was surprised to see how light the cross tube was on the Kubota SS attach, here is the Euro coupler.

The Kubota skid steer frames are a lot beefier. I think they’re trying to shave a hundred pounds off the tractor loader.
