Kubota 7800 won't start

I was fighting the HST switch on my L3830 - Did a quick search to see if anyone is having a simular problem and stumbled upon this link. Though the 3830 has a different set-up, I was able to quickly located the switch on mine. It runs off of a cam type set-up so I cleaned the area up and gave it a few shots of WD40 and seems to be working fine now. Thanks for posting the pic's and all the helpful advice.

My son-in-law has a B7800 giving him problems (a times) he thought it was the starter -fuel solinoid-or ??? so he bought a fuel solinoid that didn't help. I was running over every time my daughter would call (35 miles one way) installed solinoid . Finally pulled dash found a small box with many wires comingin two different places had the key on and tapped the box and bingo heard fuel sol snap. Sending him to town to get new what must be the brain????

This thread saved me a lot of head scratching; over the years my B7500 sometimes wouldn't crank, but it was always either the PTO lever had moved into gear after I shut down or the HST pedal wasn't centered; yesterday, it wouldn't start no what I tried; found this thread and the pictures of where the HST saftety switch is located on the B7800 (same location on B7500) and saw the rod for my HST pedal switch wasn't aligned with the switch; bypassed the switch for now to get it running; snow storm tomorrow; thanks TBN members!!

My 2006 B3030 did the same thing, was running fine shut it off and the next time it would not start.
I could hear the fuel solenoid klick but the starter would not spin checked all safety switches and found the HST pedal safety switch stuck. Only have 475 hours on it.
It's fine now thanks to this thread!
All the Bs must have the same set up of switches.

so the folks who ask the questions sometimes ( a lot if you're trying to find an answer) don't come back and post what fixed it or what the root cause was. I've done it but try not to. In this case, after i'd taking fairings off, ohmed switches, cussed, asked the wife (who was operating it right before it wouldn't start) repeatedly "what did you do??" not trying to imply she broke it - only trying to diagnose - which didn't work, i read 'themichelob' post above suggesting to check the PTO lever......BINGO and thanks for posting it. One thing i found that's weird in this scenario is that if the PTO is on, you're in the seat, clutch is depressed (which was the 'no-start' i was having, you can press the switch under the right forward seat and it'll start......why in the world??

I believe that is the switch to allow you to tilt up the seat and use a chipper or some other device while you are not sitting on the tractor.

On my MX4700 the HST switch was under floor on drivers side. It needed adjustment...
Thanks for the help

Had a B7800 some years ago and after experiencing the no start issue and trying several fixes finally discovered the foot go pedal has to be centered or no start and later was established this was a common problem on the B7800.
