Kubota b1402
Hi, just found this site not too long ago. Lots of nice projects and ideas. I'm building a front end loader for my b1402. Finally figured out how to post pictures (I think) so I thought I would share. It helps in keeping the enthusiasm going.
So far, the sub-frame is done,(3/16 2x3 and 2x2, 3/8 mounting plates) needs paint to complete. Now I'm working on the loader frame getting everything cut up and ready to weld. (3/16" cylinder mounts/gussts, 1/8" 2"x4" tube for the frame.) Going to be using 1.5" bore, 16" stroke cylinders. I'm planning to make a quick change for the bucket since I would like to have a set of forks for it too.

How many horse is that Kubota?I really like the older models....of course the newer ones are OK too:D.

Just took another look at your pictures...thats gonna be REAL nice.Prob. look like original Kubota when your done.Do you use plasma to cut your parts out?I can't tell from the pictures.

Thanks, I would sure like to have that shop. My employer was kind enough to let me work on it there after hours.
The tractor is about 17hp, 14hp pto. 855cc 3 cylinder diesel. Not sure what year, it is a grey market.
I used my esab plasma to cut the plates out.
I will get more pics as I go.

Here's what the arms will look like, not welded yet:

Phil R: is that one of those two-point tillers like some of the Yanmars?

Look good. The plasma sure came in handy here. Love the curves and angles that need little if any grinding to finish. I made my lift cylinders horizontal to help with the strain on the angle frame to the bucket. The longer cylinders gave an eight foot plus lift also. The loader will exceed the tractors requirements easily.

Nice work Phil. I am also constructing a FEL. Follow links below for pics. I see that we don't live too far away. I am in Brantford.

Thanks.
jas67, the tiller pivots on the frame and is raised by links connected to the lift arms.
scarlo101 thats not too far. You'll have to do a right up about it as you go.

Here's a start of how I'm going to make the the quick attach for the bucket, there will be plates down the sides with pins to lock it in place at the bottom.
