Looking
Hi all, I just joined because with any luck I'll be a legitimate tractor owner very soon.
I'm working with a Kubota dealership close by and so far they have been great to work with. Service, parts, and sales manager have all been very helpful.
I was quoted a price that I think is pretty fair but want extra opinions.
Kubota B2320 sold as new.
Loader with 48" and 60" bucket
48" Landpride BB1248 box blade.

Price is $15,750 including tax and everything.

I'm going to try and get it to $15,500 or get the quick connect bucket Included.
what are your thoughts?
Thanks for your help and advice.

My only thought would be that a 60" bucket is way too much for a B2320. I wouldn't even recommend it for a B2620/2920 which are larger/wider models in that B lineup and have a bigger front loader. I know the B2620/2920 front loader can accept the QA system from the B3200, but am not sure the B2320 can, as it has a smaller/narrower loader. Make sure the details are fully researched.

The price seems high to me, especially since the B2320 has been replaced by the B2301 (which has added some nice upgrades). But as people here are scattered across the world and have no reference for taxes/fees where you live, you would be better off posting the actual sales price of the equipment without taxes/fees added in.

For comparison, I got a much bigger B2920 with front loader and 48" box blade for $15,875 (that had the standard 50" pin-on bucket for the front loader). That was in 2011.

Good luck!

Paid around $14,400 delivered to my place. The standard bucket. Block heater, and all 5 filters in a box-to-go.

But again, that was 4 years ago, so don't know how relevant that info is to you

To give you an answer, it would help to know how much of the $15,750 is for:
1) tax and everything.
2) the 60" bucket & 48" Landpride BB1248 box blade.
3) the tractor, with FEL & 48" bucket?
a) HST or gear?
b) R1, turf or R4 tires?
c) remotes - SVC valves?
d) work lights?
4) how many hours on the clock - "sold as new" sounds like it might mean not actually new, but a demo with some hours on it.

Assuming your sales tax is 8%, that's 14583.33 before tax, which sounds pretty good, especially if it's an HST transmission, and really good if it's HST with remotes, turf or R4 tires, or other options.

Thanks for all of your advice and feedback.
s219 agreed that the 60" bucket is oversized for the machine. I bought it as a light material bucket. Used for snow, mulch, lawn scraps and similar. For other dense materials I'll switch back to the stock 48". Thanks for looking out for me. I appreciate it.

I did end up buying it.
16k all in.
B2320HST w/ FL (New, only hours are from test drives around the lot)
R4 tires
48" landpride box scrapper.
Upgraded LED headlights
LED work lights on a swivel.
Extra 60" bucket.
8% tax included
Setup and delivery.

It's not a low price but I think it's fair.
A little over 12% off MSRP.
I think I'm paying extra for a solid dealership that will be there when I need them.

While I was there guys were coming in just to say hi and
bounce ideas off of workers.
Close group that I think will treat me right after the sale.
At least that's my rational and I'm sticking to it. ;-)
thank again.
Josh

You did well, Josh. A solid dealership almost never gets factored into the buying price, because it's hard to put a price on, but it's certainly worth investing in. You won't be disappointed by the B, either. It's a great little ag tractor that seems a lot bigger than its stated HP and will quickly become you back's best friend.

If I remember right, I think I paid $14,xxx for the same tractor with fel and land pride rear finish mower just under 5 years ago.

kosby, your sig and other info says your B2320 is a gear, DT. If so, the OP's machine is an HST and there's quite a difference in price and not comparing apples to apples, really. I don't know how many price increases have happened in the last 4 −5 years either, which skews things as well.

Josh, you did fine. Once you make your best deal and it's 12% under "build my kubota" website pricing, you've done just fine and now it's time to forget out the dollars and enjoy your tractor. Be safe, and get to work!!! :)

Josh,

I bought a used B2320HST from a friend this summer. For $13,000 I got the following:

-Tractor with 180 hrs, a few bumps and some fading here and there but overall very good condition. Loaded turf tires.

-FEL with 48" pin-on bucket. Top of bucket sunk a few inches from ill-advised chaining - I fixed it.

-48" woods brush hog in good shape with surface rust.

-Ratchet rake

-60" Land Pride rear blade like new

-60" Land Pride landscape rake with wheels like new

-60" MMM like new (he didn't use it)

-County Pride (TSC) 3PT trailer mover

If your machine is like new and you took advantage of financing, you did very well. At the time I bought it I struggled with going new or used, B or BX, attachments, and so on.

Today, I don't think about the money and I sure don't regret the bigger frame of the B. I have added clamp on forks, a B1658 QA, a 60" Moose County Plow, a Harbor Freight 3PH QA, and am picking up a Trac Vac 854 (PTO driven) this weekend.

The 2320 has far exceeded my expectations in terms of power and versatility. I hope you get as much satisfaction from yours as I do from mine.

Congratulations!
