Kubota B2400 PTO does not engage

Just changed out the HST transmission which was a royal PITA and now neither one of the PTO engages? Did not touch anything on the rear differential and they were both working before. I can depress the clutch fully and the input shaft stops rotating, shift the 540 PTO into "engaged position" and NOTHING. Same with the front 2400 PTO. I am stymied!!!

I have a B2100 and just changed out the hydrostatic transmission. Both PTO shafts will not turn also. Did you come up with a solution to fix yours?

Almost looks like it may be missing a splined coupler between the HST and PTO input shaft.
