Buying Advice Kubota B2410 Advice needed: comments/price

Advice needed ASAP. Comments please... I have chance to buy 3-y-o B2410 (210 hours), 4WD,HST with LA352 bucket, Woods BH6500 backhoe, + blade, AG tires, mint condition... he's asking $11K firm. Is this a fair price? I must make fast decision, as seller needs $ for business deal and plans to advertise tractor this coming Monday,,giving me 'till Sunday nite to decide....

intended use,,,, moving gravel, stone, some occasional digging,,,would like to add wood-splitter..

other tractors I was considering are new JD790 and Kubota L3400 or L3130.... I realize this B2410 is smaller than these, but it seems like a good deal??

Sure is. If he list it for that price, it will not last long.

I would say that it sounds like a good deal to me considering the age and hours. List price for a new B2410 with a front end loader is about $17,900, according to Alderman's web site. Plus a back hoe will probably cost another 5K+, and the blade $300-$400. If the tractor looks like it has been well maintained with no excessive play in the pins on the backhoe and front end loader, and the tractor will fit your needs for now and the future, I would probably give the deal some serious consideration.

I have a friend local here in NH who has the exact same configuration only a different make backhoe. He posts here under 8561. Send him a PM and maybe he can give you first hand insights on what you are looking at.

Like Mad said, I have a very similar configuration. I have about the same number of hours, but a different brand backhoe, and I have R4 tires instead of ags. I also have bi-speed turn on mine. Depending on if you plan to mow with it, the tire choice may or may not be a good choice for you. As far as the tractor itself, I really like mine a lot. I'm a little concerned you might want or need something larger given your L series shopping list, but for it's size, I have found it to be very capable.

In terms of the price, that offered price is not your obstacle. On price consideration alone, I would pay him cash before he figures out what it's worth. You could always buy it and run it a year or two, and if you thought you wanted something larger, I believe you'd sell it pretty quickly for the money you have invested. He's not selling it he's giving it away at $11000.
I was trying to decide between a real nice 3 year old B2410 And A New BX23 FOR $15500.
The B2410 only had 165 hours on it and was in nearly new shape for $13500.It had a 60'' mmm FEL and a rear Blade.
BUT NO BACKHOE 
Had the man cut the price from $13500 to $11000 and thrown in a free back hoe with the deal I'd have taken the offer in a heart beat.
If you don't want it send the guy to me.

I'm not sure if Fred is still checking the site frequently or not, but the last correspondence I had with him, it sounded like he was going to pass on it, so it may still be available. It is a heck of a deal.
