I had tried pressing the clutch pedal with my foot, and I had moved and or jiggled every lever on the tractor and didn't get anything.
While it's true that maybe moving the clutch pedal back and forth really hard by hand may have resulted in it starting if I had just walked around and tried the switch, I don't know. Since the wife was interested in what was going on and standing their watching, I decided to put her to work, LOL.
I believe the pedal was not returning all the way when it was depressed by foot, and I have since greased it with the zirk fitting and applied grease to several other areas that may be crucial in starting.
I have always kept the tractor and FEL well greased, but will watch these areas more closely in the future.
