Looks like you did your homework try to get some extras thrown maybe 50 hour service, shop manuals

Doing a little math, they are now at $2650 dealer discount on a $30,056 deal. Then there is the $1000 off from the Kubota Implement promotion going on. That is 8.8% at the dealership level, and if you wanted to count the Kubota $1000 in as if you were getting that off (I do not, that is independent of the dealership discount) than you would call it 12% off.

I dropped the 3rd function from the deal, but added the mechanical thumb @ $475 and wheel spacers @ $299.

At that point, with $6K cash down it places the payment at $139.37.

I would like to see them go to a true 12% off, and then get the Kubota $1,000 implement bonus cash, that would make it $3600 dealer discount and $1000 Kubota rebate and $127.39 payment for a total combined 15.3% off of MSRP.

If I pulled that off and squeezed the down payment up to $6,500 it drops the payment to $121.44, or $62 per pay period. That is equal to visiting a bar one evening per pay period.

Is getting a dealer to go a true 12% off of MSRP something that should be able to be accomplished, or am I reaching for the stars at that level?

Good question! Who knows, so why not politely try it and see if you get away with it?

I think we are getting to the end. The dealer went an additional $300, taking it to 10%, if you factor the Kubota $1000 in, the buy is at 13% under MSRP. I feel that he is at his walk away point. I think it's time to sign up or shut up and walk away.

If you feel like its a good deal, go for it, Good luck:dance1:

I've done some cursory price checks on basically the same machine and it does sound like you are in a good spot with that deal. Thanks for sharing the #'s. Let us know how it all shakes out and don't forget to post up some photos once delivered.

They are saying 3-4 weeks to build because they just sold a couple L models and 3 excavators.

He doesn't have the backhoe subframe, but thinks that there is one at one of his other stores. If he doesn't have the thumb or spacers, I'll take it without and I'll install them when they get them. Although really, I don't have a use for the tractor until about May when the ground will be drying up, so I guess if they leave it set and I don't take delivery for an extra month or two... That delays the start of the warranty.

My salesman said he lost sales because he does not have sub frames or thumbs months to get

I did call today because I learned that the "premium" B2650 does not get the upgraded 3 point ratchet top link and the telescopic/pin adjusted sway links, so for $300 I told him to add them into the order.

I'm also crying and complaining that the premium suspension seat is deleted when you add the backhoe. Are you freaking kidding me? So I'm to believe that a team of design engineers couldn't come up with a suspension seat design that has a 180° turntable base under the suspension? I hardly think so.

So the take my B2650 suspension seat that I buy in the base package and remove it, and replace it with a rotating seat that sits on little valve springs like every economy model tractor has.

I'm going to attempt to ask for the suspension seat since in my opinion, I'm paying for it as well as the other. During the summer, when I'm mowing, I'd like to swap to the super comfortable suspension seat until I need the backhoe.

Premium... If you pay for the the premium 3 point upgrade, and premium as long as you don't mind them removing the premium seat.
