Comparison Kubota B3200, MF GC2600 or similar tractor

We can all certainly understand the high cost of gasoline and I have also cut back on my driving, but in the end you really have to spend some time actually standing next to and sitting on the different makes and models to fully appreciate the differences. I have been driving tractors for a while, but there are just so many models out there, it is really hard for many of us to really know all of the models and how they stack up as to size and features/layout. Any money spent on gas to look at these machines will be money well spent.

When I was shopping for a new tractor, I went to the state farm show at the beginning of this year. Thay had all the different brand tractors to "try out for comfort" all at one location. Saved me the time and gas from driving to different dealers.

Thanks! I'd actually forgotten about this. Apparently gmail doesn't get updates from here either. I guess I'll have to bite the bullet and try to find a Bobcat dealer and try them out.

I just got my B3200 on Friday with a 5 foot rotary cutter from Land Pride. Could not pass up the 0% financing.

I mowed/brush hogged about 4 hours on Saturday. I love the unit, but would point out that in MANY places in the manual it emphasizes that you get a better cut a slow speeds, ie, B3200 in low gear at 2-3 mph. I agree having used it, but suspect that each time I cut, it will be a little easier and a little faster. I have about 6 acres to brush hog and did not quite do 25% of it at that rate.

I like the fact that the B3200 has the mid mount for a belly mower, but I didn't get one yet. So far, the rotary cutter is awesome and was worth every penny.
