Kubota B3200 vs Landini 2840

Hello , in reference to your question . I have worked with the B3200 from Kubota and I have been very impressed. I know the front snowblower has a quick disconnect style mount so you can unpin and drive back. I know kubota has a selection on tires . The B3200 is a compact work platform that you can add mowers, backhoes, grasscatchers. I also know that Kubota is very conservitave when they speck a tractor. I will bet hands down if you had the 2 tractors side by side the Kubota will out lift and preform the other.

Joe, I am definitely leaning toward the Kubota - for name, reputation, quality, ease of connecting attachments, as you said (that's an important one for me - I heard the sales guy also say the backhoe installation is a 3-minute job, and that sure sounds good to me), etc. And after going from NO tractor, I KNOW I will be happy with the Kubota.

on your loader chart they don't say where the measurement was taken... so you can pretty much distrust anything on that sheet. Big numbers are great, but whats happening here is decieving. They are probably pivot-pin measurements, I saw one was a 59" 'carrying-height' measurement. Your real world working capacity is at least 1/3 lower than what they are publishing.

I thinbk you're right on, here's more info from the Landini brochure about lift capacity - it says it's at the "ball end"???

Just for some fun, ask that sales guy to put that hoe on. See how long it takes him. 3 minutes, great, 10 minutes, good, but it isn't 3 minutes.

Brian, I didn't think so either, but now I think it's possible. Just found this link. It's a BX24 attaching a backhoe in 1 min. 23 sec. But, take off 10 seconds in the front for backing up 50 ft and 10 seconds off the end for driving off. I believe that's about a minute!

YouTube - Attaching the backhoe on the Kubota BX24

The B3200 is bigger, so I can imagine it attached within 3 minutes.

It is possible when you get used to it. It takes me about as long to remove my 3pt lift arms as it does to attach my hoe. A few minutes for each.

The video is cool, but as MDM said, that was after you are use to it. I still think that the salesman should install it.

Takes me longer to remove the 3pt hitch components than it does to remove the backhoe. Takes about the same time to attach the backhoe as reinstalling the 3pt linkage.

those last specs were for the 3 p.h. not the loader.
