1. Considering getting a Rhino blade. On my old 23HP I had a 5' Rhino and loved it. Now with 33 HP am considering again either:
1. The Rhino 300 in 5'.
2. The Rhino 350 in 6'.
Rhino website says the 300 series is for 4WD tractors with no more than 30 HP. Does that mean it would not be safe on the 33HP B3300SU
2. PHD: Again, considering getting one with a 9" auger as I have a lot of fence posts to put in. Any recommendation on which PTO driven PHD? And, is 6" or 9" the right auger for fence posts?
Need input. Got the following prices from my dealer for the two additional implements I am interested in. Are these prices ok?
1. Rhino 350 6' is what I would recommend. Your price would be $800. Pins are included.
2. Rhino L200 Post Hole Digger 9 auger. $950
Thanks. And before I get 20 emails telling me to go to Barlows, etc.. let me state that I want to support my local dealer so he's here for the next 20 years.
Come on guys, I need to input in the pricing of the Rhino blade and PHD. I just have no idea if the prices I quoted are good or not. I've only got until tomorrow to finalize my decisions as the unit gets delivered on Thu or Fri.
My dealer sold his last thumb last weekend so today when I called and asked to add one to my deal he had to order it. Next Wed. No problem.
After really considering the Rhino blades I ended up picking the 300 series 5'. I went and looked at the 350 series 6' today but ****, that attachment and blade are big. I am really used to a 5' blade from my old B7610 and our driveway is < 10' wide. So, looking like I will go with the 300 series 5' despite Rhino's site saying only use with HP <= 30HP. Price on this is $600.
Price on the 350 series 6' is $800. It is much stouter and rated for the HP but jeesh it's big. If anyone would like to give me some good advice to NOT get the 5' 300 series I am all ears.
The BH77 was mounted on the tractor today and I'll have some pics in a few minutes. I really like how they replace the seat on the B3300SU with the one that can now move back and forth and face front or rear. I thought I was going to end up with 2 seats with the BH77 on there.
