Kubota B3350 PTO freewheel feature

Folks... I just bought a cool device called a PTOlink to make it easier to hook up my attachments. I read the instructions, watched the videos and it seemed easy enough. Just fit two parts together and turn it about an inch to lock it in place... the problem I'm having is that the PTO shaft won't just turn the little bit I need. Is there a feature on this tractor that puts the PTO in freewheel? Or do I just have to fiddle and cuss? Thanks

Move the PTO selector to mid or front PTO.

This will let the rear PTO turn freely.

My similar B3030 has to be in front only to turn the rear PTO,
