I own a BX22 tractor w/backhoe and frontend loader. Every now and then the hydraulic steering quits working and omly if you very quickly turn the steering wheel will the steering work.Has anyone got an idea how to fix this?
Yep. There was a recall on this issue. The steering cylinders had rusty interior walls from the factory. Over time the center o-ring wears out and fluid flows between the two sections. Turning real fast builds enough pressure to compensate for the leak. If you are handy with tools, you should be able to replace the o-ring.
