I can't speak of the BX but I'll offer my opinion of the JD2210.
I bought mine used with 113 hrs, 62" mmm for $9900 last Spring. I bought it to mow. I had previously mowed with a Kubota
B2910 and/or a JD455. I put 100 hrs on it this past summer. I loaded the rears with 10 gallon fluid in each. I also bought a hydraulic angle snow blade for the front.
First good impressions, I liked the tractor size/cut width. Handy in tight spots, 4wd a bonus compared to the 455, plenty of power, two pedal HST, 2spd HST (I mow in hi), tractor will stay on steep side slope.
First bad impressions, lousy suspension seat, no tilt wheel, rides very rough on R4 tires, deck won't cut as fast as the old 455 54" or the old Kubota 60", doesn't cut as smooth often leaving streaks especially on side slopes, lousy 3pt control, when deck is completely lowered in mowing position 3pt arms are very low, when mowing dry grass air intake screens plug quickly, 3pt arms sway bars are turnbuckle making it slow to hook/unhook anything.
Current impression. If someone would give me $9K I'd sell and try a
BX2660.
