Those tiny little wheels would be ok on a smooth golf course or a manicured lawn

Definitely Not on rough ground.
So what are you going to do?
New 3710?

You can buy mine for less than 1/2 that and have no emissions and get the same machine. ;)

I love it, but it’s too slow.
I will use the profits for a used WAM or maybe a solid used 72” zero turn. Found a really nice Toro diesel 72”, too.

Look at this beast. Makes my 72” zero turns look like toys

Too slow ground speed or too slow with 72 deck ?

U just bought a new ZD1211 72

Too slow because 72” F-3680 can’t go nearly as fast and the deck takes a tremendous beating rolling over the ground on 2 small tires, so you have to slow down.
Even if I was mowing a grass tennis court, the ZD would still be faster. Maybe not 2X as fast, but still considerably faster.

Yes, I know I did.

We run 2 mowers:
1. F-3680-72
2. ZD-1211-72

The ZD-1211-72 is twice as fast. I have no trouble with it on pretty steep hills, either. Just takes practice.

I think you’ll be disappointed IF speed is your most important need in the F. If it’s important, on bumpy ground, you will be driving disappointingly slow on an F.

Although the F gets better traction than a ZD, the “give back” is that it is considerably slower. Maybe your situation is that a ZD with turf tires won’t work because of traction. If that’s the case, I guess an F is your only answer since you won’t try bar tires on a ZD.

Anyway…..just trying to help you with your decision. I have a lot of hours on both types of mower. I think I’ve given you all I got for help.

🤷‍♂️

I don’t mow fast because some of my ground isn’t smooth.

TRACTION is the ONLY Reason I’m getting an F mower with 4wd.

I’m sold on the ZD for every aspect of my application I just can’t mow the bank if it’s the least bit damp.

It’s been 2wks since I’ve mowed it because it’s been too wet.

The F will also be a backup mower to the ZD1511 when it’s down OR I have a helper to mow with me.

The 1500 & 1600 JD Front Decks has way bigger non air deck tires than the little Dinky ones on Kubota F

Nuthin runs like a Deere!
Toros also seem to have bigger deck wheels.
