My 3030 has been great no problems at all. Im going to the L because i need more machine. Im boom spraying a 110 acre cemetery, core aerating 10 & 20 acre athletic feild sites, fertilizing lawns as large as 15 acres. My snow business has grown as well, and loading my dumptruck and other dumptrucks is a problem. I have to drive the front tires up railroad timber ramps i built to gain enough height. By jumping up to the L, I solve all my issues. I attain more hp at the engine & pto, more 3 pt lift capacity and the 724 is a big time loader! I gain lots of fel lift capacity and the 724 will load any 6 wheeler and some triaxles! The 724 with Q A bucket & forks will also save time and has the power to lift heavy pallets of materials in and out of my trucks. The intellapanel has a digital read out of ground speed, this will allow me to apply fertilizer, seed and control products at a very precise rate (lbs per 1000 sq. ft.) saving me money. The hst + is an amazing tranny, i was intimidated by it at first, but i now understand how it works, and i can see where h-ds and auto h-ds is going to save me a lot of time. 8 years ago when i purchased my b7500 i looked at the L's and thought someday, i had that same thought 3 years ago when i purchased my B3030, well someday is here. These are the facts i used to talk myself into buying the L.

That was more than enough facts to convince me, I have no doubt in my mind you needed that bigger tractor! :) But when it comes to tractors it doesn't take much to convince me.

   / Kubota Financing Question #14
i thought i wouldn't be able to get approved. I consider myself somewhat young (29), don't own much of anything, but I don't owe a lot (some student loans and a itsy bitsy credit card), and have had several loans in the past that were paid of early with no late pauments. I got easy approval for both JD and Kubota. Both need around 20% down payment on a 60 month note. I'm hopin to purchase a new M5040 4wd next week. I'm tighter than bark on a tree when it comes to spending anything, but I need a new tractor in a bad way.

   / Kubota Financing Question #15
Do they charge extra fees, because of the financing? Insurance/loan fee etc?

JD charges $100 insurance for 3 years and $150 loan fee of some kind.

   / Kubota Financing Question #16
They charge about $15 for a loan application fee and insurance. The insurance depends on the amount being financed. For around a $42,000 purchase, insurance is about $420 per year. If you can get your own insurance, you don't need to buy the Kubota insurance. Depending on your horsepower, whether you are using for commercial or personal use, your homeowners insurance might cover you. I use Allstate, and they don't cover commercial use and they don't cover anything over 47 hp, so I couldn't go the homeowners route. I didn't check with Farm Bureau or anywhere else because the Kubota rates weren't too bad.

good info there. i tried to go through my vehicle insurance, but i had to have a farm policy. since the farm is my grandfather's, and i "technically" lease the house and farm from him, i didn't see the need for a farm policy just to insure a tractor. i went with the Kubota insurance. it's around $1000 for 6 years, but cheap enough. they just roll it into the payments (no interest acrued on the insurance amount).

my tractor was $18953 plus $15 app fee, and a $50 UCC filing fee. Plus whatever the insurance was. $1020 and change IIRC.

   / Kubota Financing Question #18
My tractor was just over 22k. My homeowners insurance looked very good, since it covers use off my property, while in transport, etc. However it did not cover "accidental" damage such as if I dropped a tree on it, rolled it, ran into another tractor, etc. While I could have taken the chance with my own insurance, I decided to get the kubota coverage. I had to pay a $50 ucc filing fee for maryland, and then the insurance totalled about $700 or so for the 42 month period.

It works out to about three percent of the sales price for the 42 month program. However this is not a three percent interest equivalent since it doesn't get compounded at all. Still not a bad deal in my opinion, and my tractor is covered for anything other than maintenance for 3.5 years too.

   / Kubota Financing Question #19
Does anyone know if the insurance covers the tractor and all attachments, even non-Kubota ones? I'm assuming it does since the insurance increases with the amount of the financing and I would think they would want to protect their entire investment, but wanted to make sure.

Thanks

I believe it only covers attachments that were part of the financing. I think the only non-Kubota attachments that can be included in the Kubota financing are from Landpride.
