Kubota GL3940 or Kioti DK40SE

Why did you decide on the Kubota?

I really liked both tractors and both are great machines but I/we are only $2500 difference from the Kubota and that is not enough money to take a chance (in my opinion). I would like to see it about $3500 difference and that would do it for me cause I could get an additional set of pallet forks or an additional set of hydraulics on the front. But for now straight up tractor for tractor I will take the Kubota (at least I think for tonight).

I started with 0 remotes, added one remote, then added the second remote later. I would get at least one. I really like my hydraulic top link, which uses one of the remotes, makes implements super easy to hook up. The second remote I use for my hydraulic angle back blade. Philip.

Not a chance, no more than any other brand. They are all mechanical so anything could happen to any of them. Kioti is proven and Daedong builds a good product for a good price. There a many satisfied Kioti owners. Put the
savings back in your pocket.

I think you would be very happy with the L3940, mine has performed beyound my expectations. I had to choose from many other brands as well. For my situation, I made the right choice. Let me know if you have any questions. Philip.

Again, thanks for all the help but I will be asking about a grapple in the near future. I have 0 experience and have lots to do. On that note, anyone have any advise about grapples for this tractor and loader?

Lol!!!I will try and whisper so it doesnt offend the other brand but go with Kubota.They been great tractors for me,just a owner giving my opinion!!

Go for the Kubota, if you decide you want to upgrade or just trade down the
road sorry Kioti guys but the $2500 difference is going multiple quickly with
the Kioti in depreciation.

If you can hold off on the graple and some other implements, take a trip to Louisville Kentucky in February for the National Farm Show. Every tractor manufacturer and implement dealer (including graples) will be there to compare equipment, price, and ask quesitons. I strongly suggest taking a day off and go during the week, getting there as soon as they open. Stay the evening for some good tractor pulls. Philip.

If you don't mind the look you can add a grapple and run the hydraulic hoses to the rear remote. It's not as clean of a look but there are plenty of members here who do this.
