The cost of buying, and the cost of ownership are sometimes very different. For my smaller property, I like the idea of the Kioti CK30, etc. in size, and weight for woods work, but they are a little more "tender" underneath than some other tractors that I have run. I liked the Mahindra too, and there are a couple of local dealers. The thing I ran into when I was shopping was around here the price was very close between red, orange, and orange, with the Deere stuff a bit higher. I was just too afraid that if I, or my sons had to, or wanted to sell the tractor that the Kubota orange would retain a higher precentage of it's purchase price, and sell much quicker. The last couple of Kubotas that I have sold went in a week, or so. Are they all good tractors? You bet they are! Do I wish I had bought one of the others? Well, when I bought mine I thought I might finish mow with it so I chose a lighter tractor for that. As it turned out, I have spent a lot more time in the woods with mine, trail building, etc., and could use some extra weight sometimes, but I probably would stay with Kubota......... though the 3pt hitch would have to work well. The Kubota tractors seem more nimble in use, and that is borne out by the specs, and that is very important to me. The huge rocks, and old trees I don't want to damage just won't move for me!
