Buying Advice Kubota GL4240HST or L4400HST?

HEY! You have a cupholder built into your fender! Man, I need one of those on my L4200.

I teased my Brother about his L3240, the cupholder is behind your left elbow, on the inside of the fender, behind the seat. I told him his drink would be spilled by the time he could get it to his mouth!!! The L4400 lacks a lot of bells and whistles but they got the cupholder right!!! :thumbsup:

I'm not sure about any cup holder, but I did quickly learn you DO NOT let go of the handle on a Zero Turn mower to swat at critters on your face. I had a very special meeting with a tree the first time I used mine

I have L3940 with HST-2 plus. Only reason I got the L3940, I could mount a MMM. Don't see that happening now, so if I could do it again, I would get a L4240 with HST plus. I love the HST plus, I use the auto throttle all the time, loader, snow blade, box blade, general task. The only time I don't use auto throttle is when I need a constant pto speed, rear finish mower, bush hog, tiller, chipper. Philip.

I'm thinking TalonDancer was the first one to adjust the auto throttle cable here,maybe three years or so ago.Sounds like an adjustment I'd make for sure.

Was not me, but somebody posted in the past 24 hours with pics of how they did it, think it was Crazyall. My rpm advance does not bother me, I guess it could be slower, but figure I would rater have a little more rpm as to lug the engine. Sometimes I push into a snow bank or pile of dirt from a stand still and don't mind the extra torque and rpm. JMOP. Philip.

Hahahahahaha!!!! I have an older neighbor that uses a Zero Turn mower with two handles that are separated to the point you can't run both with one hand. He's a great guy and makes a point of waving at people. I love to go by when he's mowing out by the road and wave at him. He'll actually come to a stop and wave, then start moving again!!! I love it!!! :laughing:

Sounds like if it was me I would be making a simple way to connect both handles once you sit down. That or buying one of those silly beer (I mean refreshment) hats with the straws.
