Cruised around Kubota Japan's Web Site tonight ... had to think there was something more than the [useless] Kubota USA web-site.

For Kubota Swimming, you need this model:

... for steep slopes you need the radio controlled model ...

... and if the snow gets to be a little too much ...

Cool link, RPM. Now all I need is the remotecontrol "gototheofficeformeanddomyworkformeguy" from Kubota and I'm all set.

I've also seen Kubota meat scales, and of course, Kubota computers. /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

You must have missed the Kubota motorcycles. I wonder if they're diesel?

You missed a couple. They also made a couple of prototype ATV's, one was a three wheeler and the other was a fourwheeler. KTC dropped them for use here because it was at the time Honda was having legal problems with their three wheelers. The Radio Controlled unit was sold here in the USA and I think there was three of them sold. One was sold in the Alanta, GA area and was rumored to cause quite a scare on the freeway when someone saw this unit mowing the side of the freeway with no operator on it. The unit was later demo'd without the radio but there was much acceptance for it in the east coast area. The unit was originally developed to fight Oil Well fires and the radio had a 7 mile radius coverage, but the FAA said no to that unit very quickly and the unit was detuned to 1/2 mile coverage here in the USA. They also developed an F2400B front mower that had the 'L'-Series Bi-Speed adapted to the rear steering. That unit was a blast to drive around for the rear end would just whip you around without damaging the turf. I mounted a Triplex onto one but KTC wouldn't let me Demo it so it was used to cut the grass at the KTC Test Center in So. Cal. Basically, Kubota has had a lot of neat equipment over the years but they like to make sure that the market is ready before they introduce anything. Beleive it or not, I once seen photos of a two seater F2400, I beleive that they made it just to get around the plant in Japan.
