There are solenoid operated diverter valve kits that will turn 1 remote into three. You then just [with a switch] select what implement you want to feed and use your single valve to contol flow. I have one on order.

Thanks-I am understanding more and more..Looking at the Kubota site I was wondering what the differences are with the FD with lever and standard with lever kit is??? This is off the Kubota site...

The FD (float detent) valve allows you to put a cylinder in free floating mode(pushing all the way forward till it detents and stays), meaning it can extend or retract freely, it also can function as a normal valve. I got 1 float detent valve to use on the top link and it comes in handy when using the box blade or rear blade in float position it allows the blade to float with the ground and not go up and down.

:confused2: The diverter plugs in to the single set you have and has 3 sets [6] outputs. All of them are normally closed off to flow. Each hyd implement is connected to a set. When you want to feed an implement that is connected to one of the sets you flip a switch that causes the valve to move internally, connecteing that set directly to your remote. Even tho the diverter is already plugged in there is no flow because the manual valve that controls your single remote is closed. When you operate that valve handle the flow is allowed - going to the implement youve chosen. If you wish to feed a different implement you just change the switch position on the diverter to choose the hyd connector set going to that implement instead.

I got my tractor with one remote installed to operate a hydraulic top link. I shortly added a second remote to control the angle on my rear grader blade. Now I would like to get a box blade with hydraulic operated rippers. Philip.

Thanks Spy and Philp.. I see know where the lever goes.. Gee nothing in those slots on tractor This is NOW making more sense to me... With the standard remote is the top link locked in place and the implement doesnt jump up? The Kubota site says standard and FD which one would you want for the top link?

FD may be "float detent". If so, this is a detented position where the valve will allow fluid to move back and forth without resistance. So, a cyl fed by a valve in this position would be free to move in and out. This can be useful with a toplink, tiltlink, etc. It is possible that your remote valve has this 4th position built in: #1 centered - OFF [all ports blocked], #2 pushed forward - ON ..out port A, back B, #3 pulled back -ON .. out B, back A, #4 fullly forward .. a position where the leverstays until returned .. allowing float.

Both of my remotes are standard, I believe the term is open center. When the valve is in the middle position, the cylinder is in a locked position. In my opinion, this would be best for a top link. Philip.

The term is tandem center, a form of closed center valve that routes the pressure supply back to the reservoir when in the centered position while at the same time blocking the work ports to lock a cyl. An open center type would not lock the cyl when centered because it connects all ports together when centered.

I like the float detent valve on the top link it allows me to float the box blade so I get a smoother job and when I am running the rotary cutter I will float it and it allows the mower to follow the contour of the ground and ride up and down wit the tractor. The side link I would use a standard valve. the float detent will do both jobs.
