Thanks for the replies. Apparently mine has regen all the way. Putting the angle hoses on the up down circuit and the lift piston on the curl worked fine. I will deal with that rather than adding a third function.
Thanks again for the help.

I wonder when kubota started doing that.

I like the regen feature alot for loader work....but would much prefer that 3rd position for normal operation. I have had my old L3400 stuck before and that was the only thing that saved me. Pushing backwards out was not an option. But was able to curl the bucket a bit, plant in the ground to lift the front axle, and dump to inch forward about a foot at a time. Regen didnt have the power to do it.

I use a double action cylinder for the blade angle on mine... I have a 7 myers plow cut down to 6ft and it's never been a problem.... so just using a single double action cylinder .... I use it off the loader controls of a 2000 B2910....

Regards,
Chris

NOthing wrong with a DA cylinder to control angle, but there are a few downsides to be aware of.

1. Speed of the angle will be different. It will angle faster one direction and slower the other.
2. Along the same lines as speed, power will be different.
3. Cannot use a crossover style relief valve to protect the cylinders and hoses on a single DA setup.

Hi LD1,
Speed in angle isn't enough of a difference to notice, Power is not a problem for me as it will angle from one side to the other rolling 2 ft of snow in front of it...
How does the crossover valve work?

Chris

In a two cylinder setup with single acting cylinders, the crossover will dump oil from one cylinder to the other if you hit something too hard. It's typically adjustable. Set around 3000psi.

When you hit something with the edge of your plow, think about how a floor jack or bottle jack work. The cylinder becomes the little pumper, and the plow is the handle. Hit something with the edge, and that cause quite a bit of pressure in the cylinders and hoses.
