Kubota L3240
How many different keys does kubota use on their tractors. My dad has a L3010 HST and I just got a L3240 HST. I was surprised when the keys were the same. Also I'm still looking for the wiring order for my hand cruise lever, the previous owner caught the wires on something and pulled the terminals out of the plastic connector. It's a 4 wire connector on the bottom of the cruise lever on my L3240 HST. Thanks Rob

Most equipment uses a generic key. The key for my Massey 1020 is the same key for a Ford 8n. Even heavy equipment utilizes a generic key. They probably have a different key for each series of machine.

Not many variations the 5030 and 5740 are the same.

agreed, if you have a Kubota tractor key, it'll likely fit a very large number of models.

A picture of the tractor or the connector I need to wire?

I have read other posts and threads here on TBN that relate to various brands of tractors' keys fitting the ignitions of other brands and models.

I knew that CAT stuff all used the same key, but they don't look like a normal key. Might have to add a secret switch for peace of mind.

I haven't had a need for the cruise control yet but the error message is driving me nuts!!
