I just bought a 1993 Kubota L 245 2 wheel drive tractor with a loader, bush hog, auger, and a grader box. I paid $3,000 for everything. The tractor runs good. It has 830 hours on the tractor. Is this a good price? I would appreciate your responses.
I think you may be mistaken about the year of your tractor. L 245's were manufactored from 1977 to 1989. My latest edition of the Hotline Farm Equipment Guide lists the value of a L245 at $2,933.00 average value. I think you got a good deal w/all the attachments and very low hours. I have a L275 DT (4wd) that I picked up this spring for $2,000 with 2,609 hours which are considered low hours for this vintage of tractor. Hope you enjoy yours. I love mine, it's a real workhorse.
I just recently traded an L245 just like yours for my John Deere 4410. It was a nice little tractor but I have very steep slopes on my property and needed a bit more tractor. I had the L1200 FEL & L590 rear finish mower and got $4500 trade allowance. Mine only had 268 hours on it. I have a VERY large spare/new repair parts selection I have left over that I have listed in the classified section if you are interested.
