And thank you for taking the time to comment on it! I've had mine for just over two years and I love it! The main uses are geared around maintaining and improving our 17 acres, so mowing, digging with the FEL and backhoe, wood chipping, grading the driveway. I have videos of all these activities on my YouTube channel.

Looks like you have a lot of nice attachments for your tractor as well. How long have you had yours and what's your favorite thing to do with it?

I have had mine for 4 years now and only wish I bought it sooner! I had an older gear drive Kubota that served me well for many years. The HST is a huge improvement for my uses.

As far as my favorite thing to do with it; the quick answer is whatever I may be doing with it at that time! :laughing:I probably enjoy brush hogging the most as it provides me with alot of "seat time" at our place.

I see you have the back hoe; I am envious. There have been times when I really wish I had one, but I had a hard time justifying the initial expense.

Yes, they are expensive, but I use mine a LOT! Most of the 400+ hours I have on my tractor have involved digging with the backhoe so it’s been a great investment for me. Plus, it’s tons of fun!

It appears that you changed the filter after changing the oil. Is that correct? Is it OK to replace the old oil and then change the filter?

I've assumed that I needed to drain old oil, change the filter and then refill the oil.

Good question! I showed it in the order of the Kubota Check List. However, I actually changed the filter first. If you pay attention, there is a clue in the video that I did the filter first. I don’t think it makes much difference as long as you don’t crank the engine in between the steps, but I am not an expert. Thanks for the kind words!

Thank you, arcli9ht! I see you have quite the collection of Kubota equipment. Didn’t know Kubota made generators. Is it 11KW and is it diesel?

I'm jealous mpsmith60 - Your L tractor has quite a few more zerks than my L3400. Granted, you made me question my maintenance thoroughness, but sure enough, some of the front end zerks that are in your video don't exist on my 2009 L3400.

Nonetheless, you are to be commended for taking the time and effort to make this video. No small feat, for sure. Thank you!
