I'm jealous mpsmith60 - Your L tractor has quite a few more zerks than my L3400. Granted, you made me question my maintenance thoroughness, but sure enough, some of the front end zerks that are in your video don't exist on my 2009 L3400.

Nonetheless, you are to be commended for taking the time and effort to make this video. No small feat, for sure. Thank you!

LOL. Maybe I should be jealous, since fewer zerks means less maintenance work! Thanks for the kind words!

For those of you coming up on the 100 hour maintenance of your L2501, L3301 or L3901 tractor. Here is the full 100 hour maintenance video. In addition to walking you step-by-step through the maintenance tasks, I'll tell you what problems you might have that your manual doesn't cover. I'll also tell you every tool you will need for each task, down to the correct wrench sizes.

I always like wrighting with a marker some where on the machine what size the drain plug nut is and maby the quarts it takes.

Good idea. I do this with all my vehicles and write that info underneath the hood with a permanent marker. I also write the lug nut torque specs on the inside door jamb.

Here's the second standalone video covering the greasing of L series tractors. Learn how to grease your Kubota L2501, L3301, or L3901 tractor without missing a single grease fitting! You see it done step-by-step.

This is part of my Kubota L Series Tractor Maintenance Video Playlist.

Awesome videos. I put the yellow grease zerk caps on all my grease fittings so the locations are easier to find. I buy a big bag of them because eventually the caps will be lost during operation.

10kw prime, 11kw surge. Yes its a diesel, it's a nice self-contained piece of equipment, runs our whole house for the most part. 2/3 gallon per hour at low usage, around 1 if you're working it. Of course since we got it the power hasn't gone out longer than 4 hours at a stretch.

Re: oil changes. Check out the lisle jugs with a spout and hash marks for measurements. I made markings on ours for every vehicle and piece of equipment we own. No guesswork at oil change time.

Sounds like a nice generator. Thanks for the link to the lisle jugs and good idea about marking them! I might have to get a couple.
