stupidly run out of fuel

Fellows, this is not true. One runs the tractor out of fuel so the bottom of the tank can be checked for debris.:D

For the bleeding as per the [ Charlz, KJM ] last two posts. My B7100 acts requires exactly the same procedure.:D

What a huge relief! I don't feel so stupid anymore! If only I hadn't done it just when the mates arrived on the scene....:eek:

charlz: I know the operators manual says to crank to bleed, but the workshop manual doesn't and I didn't when I changed the filters. The pump top is below the tank level, so it does weep fuel nicely. Cranking gets the air out instantly(-ish) however.
