There are also Kubota dealers in Albemarle and Salisbury.

Yea, they remove them when they mount the grill guard...By the way, does anyone know if there are guards for the tierods?
At the end of last year, I went into a Kubota dealer about 40 minutes away from me. I expected to pay around 17500 for an L3400 gear. He laughed and walked away from me and said when I was ready to give him 19300, we'd talk. I asked him if there was a front guard available for those tie rods so precariously placed in front, he then stated that when I bought the tractor, he'd answer my question. Did he ever really think I would buy anything from him with this attitude? By the way, does anyone know if there are guards for the tierods?
That dealer wouldn't be getting any of our money with that attitude. We do have a tie rod guard on our 3400. It is sandwiched between the grill guard and frame member. Jim

Any chance of getting a pic of that. I am curious to see how well this guard would protect the rods when backing up in the underbrush.
Arrow: The guard that we have covers the steering box and inboard tie rod ends only. Not the entire tie rod. Hope this info and picture (from the Kubota brochure) help. Jim
