Update:

Took the bucket up to York Tractor and we are still waiting for them to get back to us.

A answer to the what is the tractor used for.

It's used for general work around the farm. Nothing too hard on it which worries me as I have a B2410 with the Kuboat BH and I use it the same way. The L35 has appx. 950 hours.

Sure... We have moved some big rocks... But not all of the time.

Did they continue the welds along the front edge after turning away from the tooth? That would be a great way to remove the crack starter at the side of the tooth. I've found that whenever a weld is ended, it really pays to either turn to the side or turn back and lay down some more across where it was just welded. It moves the last cool-down point away from the highest-stress area. Hope this makes sense.

Ken, What did the dealer do about the cracked bucket? Replace? weld?

When using a bachoe bucket to pull stumps, you want the narrowest bucket you can find. Too wide a bucket and it is very easy to "pull the back out".

In a former life I used to rent construction equipment and we used to mount 12" buckets on backhoes for customers to pull stumps with because an 18" or 24" would break, and that was on Case 580 backhoes.
