If you want to save a dollar or two or three or four, there are generic UDT oils out there. My Kubota dealer actually sells them and uses them. He says that most of his commercial customers don't want to pay the full Kubota price. I've been using them for a number of years in one tractor at the house and one at the farm and as long as you change them at the recommended interval, there doesn't seem to be any difference ... except in cost.
As far as the filters are concerned, Kubota IS proud of them but if you cross reference them, you can find cheaper, and equally as good, alternatives to those too.
