Bobcat makes some real heavy duty equipment, but with those tiny tires I think that a Kubota or Deere TLB would have an advantage in the traction department. I depends on what you want to use it for I guess but I think a TLB with bigger rear tires is a huge benefit when working in dirt, mud, etc...
Check out this TBN thread about buying either a tractor or a skid steer to find out some of the contrasts. It doesn't really matter about specific brands, the thread will give you an idea of what people think would serve better. Put your circumstances of use into the ideas and you should get a better idea of which type would serve you best.
Personally, I'd rather do the CUT if given one choice because the implements I could use on the PTO would generally be cheaper than the hydraulic ones for a skid steer, and many other reasons not limited to clearance etc. John
