Just curious, would a shot of ether help? Maybe getting it to run would suck out the air in the fuel lines?

You don't need to losen the injector. Just the fuel line going to it.
Start your bleeding procedure with the flow of fuel. Tank, filter, pump and finally injectors.

As soon as you go upstream the flow and open the system after your bleeding, you have to start over again.

So I took off the hose on the back of the filter, the one that seems to take fuel from the filter not send fuel to the filter. I was stopped up once again. So I sucked and blew (NO COMMENTS) in it until I got air going thru again.

The engine sputtered for a few seconds. Tried some more letting the starter cool. Back to the same cranking forever.

I then "recleared" the same hose. Once again it was blocked up. Tractor began sputter again for a few seconds then back to cranking.

It goes to something on the engine then goes to the fuel vent thingy I opened to start it.

What keeps blocking it up. It seems to go past the filter so I would not think it would be trash.

No manual pump on filter, thanks for the thought
Fuel bowl is full
Got the tractor on a jump so I know there is enough voltage.
Manual lever would be on the lift pump attached to the engine, not the filter.

Can you take a picture of the line you're clearing? One line on the filter housing has a check valve in it if my memory serves me right.

Tomorrow I'll be home and can check my L3240, which should be the same.

Did you have any wax buildup in the filter? Ever figure out what the mystery fuel in the blue can was? Maybe it interacted with the diesel in the line and made something gummy. Sounds like you need to pull that line out and get it fully clear.

Never mind on the "What is this". It's the fuel pump

Is the hose collapsing when you crank the starter? Sounds like you might need a new fuel line.

It might be, I haven't even looked. Which line would you be referring to? Two lines supply fuel to the filter, and then one goes to the fuel pump.

Start with replacing the fuel line/hose that has repeatedly gotten blocked.
