And the 3PH on mine is smooth. No jerking around.
What is the clutch for on the hst models
Mine is a gear model and I've never had issues with the brake pedal, throttle & diff lock all on the same side. Actually every tractor I've had has been this way...Good power and easy cold starting. Having the throttle pedal, brakes, AND diff lock pedal on the right side makes it hard to use brakes for steering on the gear drive models. Same with the hst version, has brakes and hst pedal on the same side.

I don't like using the hand throttle for snow clearing, which is when I want to use the brakes to steer. About the only time I use the hand throttle is for mowing an open field.
Using the diff lock to get unstuck is another situation where I'd rather use the foot throttle for better control.
I've actually looked at what it would take to move the diff lock to the left side, not an easy project.
So, unless I grow a second right foot, which according to my wife I already have, it's a pain in the azz.Sean
