New to me and almost new anyway with only 75 hours on the clock. I ran across this L45 and decided I just had to have it. I already told on myself when I posted about the grapple that I got in the deal but I figured I would post a few pictures here. I ordered the forward hydraulics and when they come in I'll carry the L45 to the dealer and have a complete service done and the hydraulics installed.

Get the fluid changed when you get the remotes. Nice but dusty tractor, Check the filters.

Space out the rear tires 1-1/2" to 2" per side and Load the tires about 1/2 to 2/3 full for about another 800 lbs for stability.

Have them check set pressures to the max of the spec.

Grease often.

Have fun, No Regen, yeah!

I can see by the wear that it is low hours, but whomever previously owned it gave it no TLC.

Yep I looked at an L47 but the two main draw backs were the price and the Regen stuff, the previous owner of my L45 passed away and I bought it from his son.

Nice tlb, I think you will be very happy with it's numerous uses and capabilities. I have found my 110 to be very handy.

The only thing you may not like is it appears to have a light materials bucket rather than a heavy duty bucket but I am not a Kubota expert.

It is The "HD' bucket
I welded a bit of extra metal to mine, side-plates, back scraper and more metal across top bar.

I have had a B26 for a while and have enjoyed it, I hope the L45 will be even better and now I have to adapt the things I built to fit the L45

If this is the heavy duty bucket then I would add the missing bolt on cutting edge to the front lip. Better to add it now before it gets bent up imo.

now I got to look at the bucket a little closer and maybe add the cutting edge to it. Does anyone recognize the bush hog and know anything about them, it looked heavy duty to me when I bought it.

what did you use for the back scraper?

I used hard to find 2 x 2 x 1/2" thick angle and bolted to it a replaceable strip of 1-1/2 x 1/2 Steel. Decent for quickie grading, & Back Dragging, but a land plane is really much better. For the front I have a extra cuttng edge with ESCO teeth.

Hi Woody. Congrats on this great-looking L45!

Do you happen to know the dimension (or would you mind measuring) the total length when the backhoe is in storage position? I'm considering an L45 too, but I need to be sure it will fit in the dry storage I have available. Height is not an issue, but length is limited. TractorData.com tells me the length of this machine is 237 inches, nearly 20 feet. However I believe that is with the backhoe extended, like you would have it strapped down on the bed of a trailer. I'd like to know how long it is with the backhoe tucked against the back of the machine, as it would be parked.

Thanks!

It’s 20 feet.... my l47 is the same and on the trailer (20’) the hoe, in the up position, is even with the ramps....
